EACON and Tonly Launch the Electric Cabless Autonomous EQ100E
EACON Mining Technology, in partnership with Tonly Heavy Industries, has unveiled the cabless autonomous EQ100E, marking a major leap forward in electric and autonomous mining haulage.
Born for autonomous mining, the EQ100E is more than cabless. The pure electric, distributed-drive, autonomous mining truck is purpose-built to deliver safe, efficient and low-emission haulage in complex mine environments. Developed on a new vehicle architecture, it combines advanced control systems with a full perception suite of high-resolution cameras and LiDAR sensors that provide 360º vision and complete situational awareness, ensuring reliable performance in snow, ice, dust and fog. The truck delivers consistent traction, stability and productivity across demanding mine sites, supported by a distributed drive and brake system that allows independent control of each axle and wheel. Multiple brake redundancies further enhance safety and handling. Maintenance efficiency is improved through a 30% reduction in parts, while dual battery charging and swapping capability ensures continuous operation and optimal energy use across all conditions.
